Is one of nine players to play for the Blue Jackets on multiple occasions, registering 10-32-42 and 119 penalty minutes in 172 contests from 2003-07 and 2011-12.
Began his NHL career with Columbus, making his league debut on Dec. 2, 2003 vs. Anaheim as a 20-year-old.
Scored his first career NHL goal on Feb. 11, 2004 vs. Los Angeles (Roman Cechmanek).
His best season as a Blue Jacket was in his second stint with the club when he posted career highs in assists and points with 3-13-16 in 56 games in 2011-12.
Finished his eight-year NHL career with 17-45-62 and 227 penalty minutes in 291 contests with the Boston Bruins, Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Chicago Blackhawks and NY Islanders from 2003-13.
Also played parts of 10 seasons in the American Hockey League from 2003-16, registering 39-16-203 in 429 appearances with eight different teams.
Went on to play four seasons in Europe, including stints in Germany and Great Brittain and suited up for the Sheffield Steelers in the EIHL in his final two campaigns from 2018-20 and won the league championship in 2019-20.
Played junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with the Rimouski Oceanic and Quebec Remparts from 1999-2003, registering 40-155-195 in 240 contests.
Won the 2000 QMJHL Championship and CHL Memorial Cup with Rimouski.
Transitioned to hockey operations following retirement and joined the Blue Jackets front office as a team relations specialist in August 2021.
