- Began his final NHL campaign with Columbus, posting 10-17-27 in 54 games during the 2006-07 campaign.
- Finished his 10-year NHL career with 202-219-421 and 229 penalty minutes in 674 games with the Carolina Hurricanes, Blue Jackets, Vancouver Canucks, Los Angeles Kings, Washington Capitals, the NY Rangers, Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins from 1996-2007.
- Made his NHL debut with Washington on Oct. 5, 1996 vs. Chicago and tallied his first career goal later that season on Feb. 1, 1997 at Florida (John Vanbiesbrouck).

- Co-owner of the ECHL’s Atlanta Gladiators since 2022 and chairman of Atlanta Sports & Entertainment Ventures.
- Founded a hip hop label, Big Up Entertainment, back in 2005 and is co-founder of clothing line SOMB (Shirt Off My Back), which provides uniforms for underprivileged youth in Africa.
