- Finished his NHL career with the Blue Jackets, picking up three assists in 11 contests during the club’s inaugural season in 2000-01.
- Collected 8-6-14 in 24 games over three NHL seasons with the Blue Jackets and San Jose Sharks from 1995-2001.
- Notched a goal in his NHL debut with the Sharks on Mar. 18, 1996 at Boston (Bill Ranford) and began his NHL career with a six-game point streak from Mar. 18-Apr. 2 (6-3-9).
- Also played for the Kansas City Blades of the IHL (1994-96) and with the Kentucky Thoroughblades of the AHL (1996-97) while in North America.
- Spent the majority of his professional playing career in Europe, starting with HC Litvinov of the Czech league from 1990-94 and then seven seasons in Finland (Liiga, 1997-2000, 2000-04), a campaign in Russia (2004-05) and six more seasons in the Czech Republic (2004-10).
- Totaled 197-118-315 in 313 career games in the Czech Extraliga and 145-230-375 in 298 career games in the SM-Liiga.
- Led the Czechoslovak Extraliga in goals and finished fifth in points with 45-22-67 in 47 games in the 1992-93 season with Litvinov as a 21-year-old.
- Won the Liiga championship in 1997-98 with HIFK and was named to the league’s All-Star Team after posting 22-26-48 in 41 regular season games.
- Led the Liiga in assists (57) and points (81) and won the Lasse Oksanen Award for Best Player of the Regular Season in 1998-1999.
- Featured in several international tournaments with the Czech Republic, winning gold at the 1998 Winter Olympics as well as bronze at the 1993 IIHF World Championships and gold at the 1999 tournament.
- Spent several seasons coaching in the Czech junior hockey ranks as part of the HC Slovan Usti and Labem organization (2011-19), the same team he captained for his final two seasons of professional hockey.
- Currently serves as an assistant coach for ESC Dresden’s U15 team.
