  • Served as the team’s fifth captain in CBJ history from 2008-12 after serving as an alternate captain from 2005-08.
  • Was the first player in franchise history to record 20 goals in eight-straight seasons from 2003-12.

  • Represented Canada in numerous international tournaments. Played for the country at the 2006 Olympic Games and earned gold at back-to-back Winter Olympics in 2010 and 2014.  Also suited up for Canada at four IIHF World Championships, earning gold at the 2007 tournament and silver in 2005 and 2008.
  • Played junior hockey with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League from 2000-02, notching 63-75-138 and 144 penalty minutes in 112 games.
  • He currently resides in New Albany and has served in various capacities in the club’s hockey operations department since rejoining the Blue Jackets in 2019.  Was promoted to director of player personnel/development in February 2026.
