Stopped all six shots faced on 18:48 of time in relief on Apr. 7, 2007 vs. Anaheim.
Turned aside seven of eight shots on 25:42 of time in his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets on Feb. 2, 2007 at Calgary.
Played in two seasons in the American Hockey League from 2006-08, posting a 32-27-4 record with a 2.88 GAA, .904 SV% and five shutouts in 66 appearances with the Syracuse Crunch.
Finished sixth-T in the AHL in shutouts in 2006-07 with a 25-19-4 record, 2.86 GAA, .905 SV% and four shutouts in 49 games with the Crunch.
Went on to play 16 seasons in Europe from 2008-24 with stints in the Czech Republic, Russia and Germany and retired after playing two seasons with Germany’s Starbulls Rosenheim from 2022-24.

Prior to playing in North America, played for Eisbaren Berlin in Germany in 2005-06, compiling a 2.18 GAA and .929 SV% in 31 outings and helping the club capture the league championship.
Represented the Czech Republic at the 2004 IIHF World Junior Championships.
